“Mystery Baby" is a children’s picture book about a pair of woodland creatures who discover a newborn hatchling and set out to find its family.

Rabbit and Monkey visit several different animals looking for a mother with traits that somewhat resemble this strange looking infant and who will claim the newborn. But each time they are turned away with disgust and derision for the ugly little infant. Only after failing to find a home for the little one, do they learn that the mystery baby is a one of a kind creature. They decide to keep it and raise it as their own.
